The DESILO FHE Library Binary Software License Agreement
IMPORTANT: READ THIS LICENSE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SOFTWARE.
This License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (either
an individual or an entity) and DESILO Inc. ("Licensor"), regarding the use of
the DESILO FHE library binary software ("Software").
By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by the
terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms, do not use the
Software.
1. Definitions
-------------
a. "Non-commercial Use" means any use for academic research, education, or
personal purposes, excluding any commercial benefit.
b. "Commercial Use" means any use by a company, organization, or individual for
profit or as part of a commercial service or product.
2. Grant of License
-------------------
a. Non-commercial License: DESILO Inc. grants you a non-exclusive,
non-transferable, royalty-free license to use the Software solely for
Non-commercial Use, including academic research and education.
You are REQUIRED to explicitly acknowledge the use of the DESILO FHE library in
ANY research papers, theses, public software projects, or presentations that
are based on or utilize the Software.
The following citation format must be used:
"This work uses the DESILO FHE library developed by DESILO Inc.
(https://desilo.ai)"
b. Commercial License: For any Commercial Use, you must obtain a separate
license by contacting DESILO Inc. via library@desilo.ai.
All commercial use is subject to a separate written agreement with mutually
agreed terms and fees.
3. Restrictions
---------------
a. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
b. You may not sublicense, redistribute, or make the Software available to any
third party without written permission.
c. You may not use the Software in a way that violates any laws or regulations.
4. Ownership
------------
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software remain with DESILO Inc.
Nothing in this Agreement grants you any ownership rights to the Software.
5. Termination
--------------
This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if
you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must
delete all copies of the Software.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty
--------------------------
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. DESILO Inc.
makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Software's performance
or suitability for any purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
---------------------------
In no event shall DESILO Inc. be liable for any damages arising out of the use
or inability to use the Software.
8. Governing Law
-----------------
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any
dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central
District Court.
