Installation

The DESILO FHE library is publicly available on PyPI.

System Requirements

  • OS: Supports Linux and macOS. The following platforms are supported.
    • manylinux: glibc 2.34+ x86-64
    • musllinux: musl 1.2+ x86-64
    • macOS: supports 11.0+ x86-64
    • macOS: supports 11.0+ ARM64
  • Python: Supported versions 3.11 to 3.15.

CPU Version

GPU Version

  • CUDA: Supports versions 13.2 and 13.4.
  • NVIDIA driver: 580 or later.
  • GPU: NVIDIA GPUs of compute capability 7.5, 8.0, 8.6, 8.9, 9.0, 10.0, 10.3, 12.0 and 12.1 (Turing, Ampere, Ada Lovelace, Hopper and Blackwell).
  • There is no CUDA support for musllinux and macOS binaries.

Note

Since 2.0.1, the GPU packages contain code prebuilt for the GPUs above. GPUs of a newer architecture are supported from the release that follows them. The 2.0.0 GPU packages compile the GPU code on the first GPU operation of each process on every GPU except Turing, which delays it by up to about 0.4 seconds, and this compilation can fail with "the provided PTX was compiled with an unsupported toolchain" depending on the driver. Use 2.0.1 or later.
